اللي عاش بالكويت أيام الغزو، وشهد السواد اللي غطّاها من الدخاخين، وانقطاع الماي والكهرباء، والشوارع الفاضية، والسكيك اللي كانت مليانة عسكر.. احساسه اليوم غير، أعمق، وأوجع، وأكثر حساسية من غيره.
وكل قطرة مطر سودة نزلت اليوم، نزلت معاها ألف دمعة، شايلة ذكريات أيام ثقيلة.. عساها ما ترجع ولا تتكرر.
الكويت الله حاميها وحافظها، والتاريخ يشهد إن كل من نوى فيها شر اندحر وانكسر، وانرد كيده عليه، وبقت الكويت واقفة بعز أهلها ووحدتهم.. دار ما تهزها الأزمات، ولا تكسرها العواصف، فيها رجال أوفياء، وقيادة حكيمة، وشعب قلبه على بعضه.
وكل من يراهن على ضعفها خاسر لأن الكويت ما تنحني، وإن أرضها محفوظة بدعاء أهلها، وبسواعد من يحبها ويفديها.
