@BilalTbello@gaiuschibueze You even claim it is an obligation for an elder brother to make sure the younger ones doesn't lack. Na him born you?
There is no truth in this nonsense.
@BilalTbello@gaiuschibueze Ha, did you even listen to yourself at all?
Let just assumed he was broke for real, so he is gonna be wiped out without support from who he had invested in?
@officialABAT@NGFSecretariat The driver that takes me from kaduna to zaria everyday run on CNG and still charged the same rate as those running on petrol.
You wouldn't want to blame him, because he spent 850k on conversion.
MR PRESIDENT, your statement here are mere desires.
There is a lead poisoning crisis happening right now in Ogijo and many families are in serious danger.
This is a call for Ogun State Government @OGSG_Official, and the Federal Government @NigeriaGov to step in urgently!
The safety of every Nigerian is your responsibility.
When we warned that U.S narrative might worsen things and put that group in the crosshairs we were dispelled.
Someone is so determined to prove a narrative and destroy us while we have turn our backs facing politics and arguments, if this Nation goes down we'll have nothing to fight for
My only issue with many of you @Letter_to_Jack is that you consistently allow emotion to dictate your judgment and that prevents you from thinking critically and fairly about these very sensitive issues. Groups like Boko Haram and similar terrorist organisations survive primarily on propaganda. They understand the power of narrative, outrage and symbolism, so everything they do, from the timing of their attacks to the identity of their victims, is well calculated to serve a broader agenda. That is why emotional reactions, rather than analytical thinking, always play directly into their hands.
Another point that people repeatedly ignore is the nature of Muslim identity. You don’t just become a Muslim simply by declaring “I am a Muslim.” Being a Muslim is reflected in our actions, character and choices. In the same way, our inactions, especially in the face of injustice and cruelty, can expel a person from the ethical and spiritual boundaries of the religion. Boko Haram’s actions and inactions have long removed them from Islam, regardless of how loudly they insist otherwise. Their behaviour contradicts every moral and doctrinal foundation of Islam.
Let’s consider the case of Leah Sharibu, Boko Haram kept her not because of any theological principle, they kept her because she was the perfect tool for their propaganda. Her case drew global outrage, international media attention and intense religious debates, which is exactly the kind of controversy they rely on to amplify their influence.
If you want further evidence, we can look at the Chibok girls, among the remaining few still in captivity today, there are Muslims. So if their motive was truly religious, when they released majority of the Chibok girls, most of whom were Christians, why didn’t they release only the Muslim ones and keep all the Christians? I am sure you would understand that if they were acting from an Islamic perspective, the pattern would have been consistent. But no, because their agenda has never been Islam, their agenda has always been manipulation.
These are the kinds of questions you can only answer when you put emotion aside and think deeply. Terrorism is a game of manipulation, optics and psychological warfare. When you allow your emotions to overshadow reason, you miss the underlying logic that drives these groups.
So please, sit down and reflect critically. Connect the dots. When you do so without emotional bias, you will see clearly that Boko Haram’s operations are rooted in propaganda, not religion, in manipulation, not faith and in strategy, not spirituality.
@Sharplyyy@Aboki_Nagari I knew it. My Instincts told me you would refer to this.
There is context to every ruling, if I caught you drinking secretly, a sin between you and your maker, I am encouraged to conceal it.
But For a crime that harms the public, na.
@Sharplyyy@Aboki_Nagari This exact thing you suggest is what lead us to where we are right now. "Cover them up". How do we get to choose what crime to expose?
Kulu arafa masu asiri?
The moment u cover them, they will do it in that same mosque again and again.
Shameless liars!!! Your only aim is to push your own agenda. The evidence is publicly available for all to see: more Muslims are being killed in northern Nigeria. A quick search on the internet will reveal all the relevant data.
Reliable sources like the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Nigeria Security Tracker, Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED), International Crisis Group (ICG), Human Rights Watch (HRW), and Amnesty International provide the best estimates. These draw from media reports, NGO monitoring, and government data. Total deaths from these actors exceed 60,000 since 2009, with Muslims comprising 70-90% based on regional demographics and targeted attack patterns (e.g., Boko Haram’s assaults on Muslim-majority villages and mosques). Below, I break it down by actor, focusing on Muslim victims where possible.
Breakdown by Actor
1. Boko Haram and Related Insurgents (e.g., ISWAP):
• Total deaths: Approximately 35,000-40,000 since 2009 (CFR estimates ~21,000 from 2011-2024; ACLED adds ~15,000 pre-2011 and recent years, totaling ~36,000 as of mid-2024).
• Muslim victims: 80-90% (~28,000-36,000). Boko Haram explicitly targets “apostate” Muslims in the northeast (Borno, Yobe, Adamawa states), killing civilians in markets, mosques, and villages. HRW (2015-2020 reports) documents over 10,000 Muslim civilian deaths in 2014-2015 alone. US Institute of Peace (2020) notes Boko Haram has killed far more Muslims than non-Muslims, with ratios of 10:1 in some phases.
• Key substantiation: Insurgents view moderate Muslims as enemies, leading to massacres like the 2015 Baga attack (2,000+ mostly Muslim deaths).
2. Kidnappers/Bandits:
• Total deaths: 8,000-12,000 since ~2011 (ACLED tracks ~10,000 violent deaths in northwest banditry/raids through 2024; earlier years add ~1,000-2,000).
• Muslim victims: Nearly 100% (~8,000-12,000). Operations occur in Muslim-dominated states like Zamfara, Katsina, and Sokoto, targeting Muslim herders, farmers, and villagers for ransom or control. ICG (2023) reports bandits killed ~2,500 in 2022 alone, all in Muslim communities.
• Key substantiation: Unlike southern kidnappings, northwest banditry is intra-Muslim violence, often linked to resource grabs but distinct from ideological insurgency.
3. Herdsmen (Fulani Militants in Farmer-Herder Clashes):
• Total deaths: 10,000-15,000 since 2009 (ICG estimates ~12,000 from 2011-2022; Amnesty adds ~3,000 in peak 2018 Benue/Plateau violence).
• Muslim victims: 40-60% (~4,000-9,000). Clashes span central “Middle Belt” (mixed Muslim-Christian) and northern Muslim areas. In northern states (e.g., Kaduna), victims are mostly Muslim farmers/herders; in southern Middle Belt (e.g., Benue), more Christian. HRW (2018-2021) attributes ~80% of attacks to Fulani (mostly Muslim) militants, with intra-Muslim deaths rising in the north post-2015.
• Key substantiation: While media often highlights Christian victims (e.g., 2018 Jos attacks), ACLED data shows ~50% of deaths in Muslim-majority zones like Taraba and southern Kaduna.
@mariam4gunnerz@CoveredInWords I agree, as there may be no one masterstroke solution to this, therapy would help, cutting Internet time may help, keeping the mind busy while also working to improve eman would help, and also marriage would help significantly. She is 27.
@one_miloo I have never come across any religion that preaches vile.
The cruelty and evil is clearly a reflection of humans heart.
Our rotten minds is the real bane, not religion.
@FabrizioRomano He is only good at talking. No good manager spent over 7 months with a team and not have an impact.
By the way, Frank is doing well at Tottenham
@theedanyell@ChiefBuari Try taking the gate house to the left and put the entrance at exactly the place the gate house is right now. Not the best but better.
@AmorimEra_ You all make stupid excuses for Amorin, when he knew he needed a DM so bad, why has he gone all out on AM. Dude is bang average but you all ain't seeing nothing.
If I were INEOS I wouldn't invest a penny anymore.
Being with the team for over 7 months and nothing has improved
