In #Maharashtra's #Ratnagiri, a #Hindutva mob broke the gate of a mosque while Taraweeh prayers were being held at #Rajapur on March 12.

The mob, celebrating the Shimga festival of #Holi, shouted religious slogans and threw gulal at the mosque during the prayers, despite the presence of the police.

In Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, a Muslim youth named Changez Khan was brutally attacked by a Hindutva Mob. The assailants reportedly took Khan to a nearby jungle, allegedly with the intent to kill him. However, police intervened and rescued him.

During the assault, Khan suffered severe injuries, including a broken finger caused by a screwdriver, a stab wound to the stomach, and a head injury inflicted by a rod. He also sustained a fractured leg. There were weapons in the vehicle in which he was taken to the jungle.

The main accused Sanjay Mishra is the District president of Bhartiye Bajrang Dal, Puranpur.

I urge GHMC officials & the govt to be aware that although garbage trucks are roving the city, they do not have the right vehicles to collect both dry and wet waste. As a result, wet waste is leaking onto the roads, exposing travellers to an extremely repulsive smell all day long
