When Liangmai, Tangkhul, and Meitei groups imposed an economic blockade on Kuki-Zo areas for _more than_ 50 days, essential food supplies and even basic medical facilities were exhausted. Many families and their children were forced to go to bed without food, and access to medical treatment became nearly impossible.

However, for Professor and MP @Bimol_Akoijam, the suffering of the people appeared to be of little concern. He remained detached and seemingly unaffected. Yet, when a roadside liquor shop belonging to Meiteis was vandalized by unidentified miscreants, he promptly visited the site, questioned the authorities, criticized the Indian Army, and ridiculed them in front of the public. This is the same individual who, during his election campaign, declared, _"I will completely dismantle Arambai Tenggol once I become an MP,"_ after facing threats from them. Shame on you, MP @Bimol_Akoijam.

When Armstrong Pame constructed a road to connect his people across Nagaland and Manipur — improving access to education, healthcare, and connectivity through his personal savings and community contributions — he was widely celebrated as a hero by the Meitei community.

In contrast, when the Kuki-Zo community undertook a similar initiative to build a bridge after being denied development by the state government, the same effort was branded a _"TERRORIST BRIDGE"_ by sections of the Meitei community under the leadership of Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh, COCOMI, FOCS, Haomee Federation, and Republic TV.

One must ask: Why not focus on governance and development within your own jurisdiction, instead of interfering elsewhere and provoking tensions unnecessarily? Selective provocations will be costly as well as dearly

Manipur Police (@manipur_police) told The Hindu that a mob of around 600 Kukis tried to advance towards the Kanto Sabal area, which they said is in the “buffer zone.”

If I remember correctly, the Governor of Manipur (@LokBhavManipur) stated on the record that no buffer zone exists.

So, it seems the "buffer zone" exists or does not exist whenever it serves Meitei interests.
