Cartrack , What Is Her Name?
I find this Cartrack statement dehumanising.
- Her name is Gcina Dhladhla.
Her name was not "Employee". She was a human being. She was a daughter and a sister. She had a beating heart and aspirations. She was far more than just a pair of hands and a brain. Her name was Gcina Dhladhla. Her name is not "Colleague". Gcina's name is not "that lady". Please do not dehumanize her.
It is painful to see that in this very long statement of more than three thousand words, her name was never mentioned. To Cartrack, she just was just "The Employee". In that diabolic company, Gcina was reduced to a employee number on the payroll. This statement is heartless and cold to the bone. Even in this darkest hour, Cartrack's wealthy bosses seeks to capitalize upon her demise by white washing the company's damaged reputation.
South Africa does not deserve this heartless company. A company so shamelessly cruel.
- Her name is Gcina Dhladhla
💔😭💔😭
Someone died at their toxic workplace, and other victims have confirmed that working at @CartrackZA is a death wish. Are you going to send inspectors to interview the employees, or we continue as if nothing happened @deptoflabour? @Lesufi any plans about meeting the bosses there?
PLEASE REPOST:
I applied for funding from @IDCSouthAfrica and @NEFCORP. But was rejected because they said “Lack of financial viability” & “old equipment.”
Yet we operate a 14,000sqm factory with international offtake agreements and over 150 job and skills opportunities.
So let me get this straight:
1. On 22 January, Phiwe Marumo apologises for "inconsistencies."
2. On 8 March, David Jarvis says the problem is that I did not send information.
These two statements cannot both be true.
Either the @IDCSouthAfrica treated me inconsistently (Marumo's version) or I failed to provide information (Jarvis's version).
The email trail supports Marumo.
I hold a 6,500 square metre factory allocation at the Tshwane Automotive Special Economic Zone.
TASEZ needs proof of IDC funding to finalise my lease. The IDC says come back with a facility.
A state-built factory, designed for black manufacturers, sits empty while a qualifying black-owned tenant is being turned away. The first of its kind for a Black Youth-Owned Automotive Manufacturer.
On 9 March 2026, I filed a formal petition with the Portfolio Committee on Trade, Industry and Competition, addressed to Chairperson Hon. Mzwandile Masina.
On 10 March 2026, I filed a supplementary complaint with the Public Protector.
On 10 March 2026, I submitted a 21-page evidence package to NAFCOC.
I have also sought legal counsel.
I am coming from every angle. The IDC will not be allowed to bury this quietly.
Parliament has already launched an inquiry into claims of IDC bias against black businesses. This is not just my story. This is a pattern.
Every black entrepreneur who has been told "come back with 1,000 sales" while watching someone else get R69.9 million knows exactly what I am talking about.
I am not asking for sympathy. I am not asking for charity.
I have 70+ vehicles deployed. Blue-chip clients. CSIR validation. AIDC endorsement. A TASEZ factory allocation. R9.5 million of my own money invested. 10 years of my life.
I am asking one question: Why has the IDC given R0 to a black-owned EV manufacturer with a proven track record, while giving R69.9 million to a white-owned competitor in the same sector?
If you cannot answer that question, then you understand the problem.
To every black industrialist who has been through this: You are not alone. The system is not broken. It is working exactly as designed. But we can change that.
To the IDC: I have given you 8 years of good faith. I have nothing left to lose. The evidence is filed. The public can judge.
To the media: My inbox is open.
To South Africa: Repost this if you believe development finance should serve the people it was created for.

Note South Africans📍
@Vodacom spent less than 2 million developing ‘Please Call Me’ and made billions.
They again spent about 23million developing Look4Me product of the former CEO’s son Knott Craig Jnr, a failed product.
Nkosana Makate’s proposed revenue split of 15% not approved (called greedy)
CEO’s son split of 85% approved with no hassles.
Yah ne?
Met this lady at a garage in Parkhurst asking for money for transport to get back home.
She came to look for a job at the restaurants around here.
What pained me is her saying “It’s hard. I’m South African so they don’t want us” 💔
Hearing that on Freedom Day 😞
If you have not yet started a family, take the slightest chance you get to leave this country and go build your life somewhere else, and come back after 10 -15 years.
It will not be easy but you will be better off than the majority of people here.
We have no country here.
South Africa is too much:
- People stealing a crocodile
- Man selling a severed penis
- Man telling cops he cant get his finger prints taken because is supposed to dead.
- Dead bodies stolen from mortuaries
- Grandmother killing her grandson and his friend for muthi.
- President who has no brain.
And so on and so on!
