🇵🇰🇮🇳 WOW: Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif has just put an explicit war threshold on the Indus.
“𝘈𝘯𝘺 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱, 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘥𝘦, 𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘗𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯’𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘢𝘳.”
India suspended participation in the Indus Waters Treaty in 2025 after the Pahalgam attack, accusing Pakistan of supporting cross-border terrorism, which Islamabad denies.
New Delhi says the treaty will remain in abeyance until that support ends.
The Indus system supplies water to roughly 80% of Pakistan’s irrigated agriculture.
This is no longer rhetoric about “weaponizing water.”
The PM has now publicly defined interference with the Indus as a casus belli.
And told India not to test the definition.

I am deeply disappointed to hear, just now, that Pakistan’s government intends to challenge the Supreme Court’s decision to transfer Imran Khan from prison to a medical facility.
I simply cannot understand this determination to persecute a leader of such national significance. This dark vindictiveness against such a towering national hero is neither Pakistani nor Islamic. It only weakens Pakistan.
I hope General Asim Munir understands that reconciliation with Imran Khan is the true mark of strength and confidence, not continued persecution.
