One thing that nags me is this...

I mean, there is enough evidence out there that homeopathy and ayurveda do not work... at the very least, not to the extent that they claim they do

But what I feel bad about is, when kids... who have taken up these fields, see this, and feel bad, and helpless and clueless and what to do about their career

I have seen a lot of sincere students who actually care about patients and medical knowledge, perhaps more than my subordinates
but they cannot do anything because of whatever reason they ended up in the other fields...
and I don't have anything to say to them either. 🥺

FMGE results declared- only 12.38% have passed. Hope our Central Ministry of health looks into this. Pass percentage needs to be much, much higher.
I had the opportunity of working with FMGE CRRIs, when I was posted at Thiruvallur Medical College,& all of them were excellent in knowledge, efficiency and dedication to pts.
FMGE Drs are our children too. Failing them, year after year consistently is extremely cruel. Hope the NMC, & the Central Health Ministry look into this matter with the urgency & importance it deserves. Futures r at stake.
