The most common mistakes I see on newsletter signup pages:
1. The description of the newsletter doesn't explain the VALUE people get from subscribing.
2. The description of the newsletter is too generic - it sounds like a million other newsletters.

Exactly my first thought & they're not. Wonder if they checked the audience overlap. Beyond oversaturating recipients it must've been intense operational stress editing, producing, testing & QAing. But hey, you live, you learn - & try to not burn (the audience) out along the way!
Being a newsletter geek, I've signed up to several @semafor newsletters as I was curious to see what kind of product they would create. Now I'm curious to know if all these newsletters are meant to go out on same day/almost same time because that definitely feels overwhelming 🤔
As for what comes next, I am thrilled to join the Audience team at @devex and work with @kim_bode to bring high-quality, impactful journalism to more people
I cannot wait to start 🚀
