, I know firsthand how grueling these campaigns can be—tirelessly engaging communities and tackling tough issues like alcohol and drug abuse. Kudos to @omerikwa
and the Machakos team for their dedication! Excited to welcome you all back as you wrap up.
Today, we are in the final leg of the lower eastern Jukwaa la Usalama edition, which is taking place in Machakos County.
Our CEO @omerikwa , accompanied by our Machakos County Coordination staff, has highlighted the unique alcohol and drug abuse challenges in the County based on its cosmopolitan nature and proximity to the capital city.
He lauded support to the Authority's interventions to the challenges, received from @ngaosKE specifically the Machakos County Commissioner.
He called on all stakeholders to prioritise treatment and rehabilitation programs coming in the wake of the recently launched community based rehabilitation framework.

! Empowering our law enforcement officers with ADA prevention sessions is the way to go. These frontline heroes deserve our full support to tackle challenges and keep our communities safe. Kudos to the team and Mr. Lomwatu.
Empowering Our Frontline Heroes!
Our Nairobi County Office teamed up with the National Administration Police Training College – Embakasi for an impactful alcohol and drug abuse (ADA) prevention sensitization session!
With officers and their families in attendance, we addressed a critical issue affecting our law enforcement community — a key population that often faces this challenge head-on.
A big thank you to the College Commandant, Mr. Davies Lomwatu, for gracing the session and championing the health and well-being of our brave officers.
Together, we’re creating safer, healthier communities — one step at a time!

💙 Nothing compares to the power of compassion.
Today H.E. Dr. @Pastor_Dorcas warmth and kindness reflected as she enveloped young hearts with genuine love joining alcohol and drug rehabilitation
Addiction is a disease, but it does not define someone's future. We should rally around our loved ones and offer the support they need to seek treatment.
