It seems obvious but it has taken sustained pressure from many people and organisations to get agreement that:

>>> PAs are not doctors
>>> PAs must not replace doctors

Those PAs who have been left exposed in place of GPs and on hospital rotas need to be supported into supervised roles.

We then need to review and revise the demand / need / value / safety / cost effectiveness of PAs as dependent professionals supporting doctors.
