Hon’ble MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi visited Jantar Mantar today to meet the students on an indefinite hunger strike, listen to their concerns, and express his solidarity with their democratic struggle.

Addressing the gathering, he said that those who occupy positions of power must be judged by their character, not by the throne they sit on. He reminded the gathering that whenever people demand their constitutional rights, they are too often met with labels instead of dialogue. “Kashmir has lived through this for years. Today, the same is happening to you. This chain must break. A democracy can only thrive when citizens are heard, not silenced.”

@RuhullahMehdi knows clearly that without NC he can't reclaim his MP seat again. He also knows that If he launches his own Party, it will fail like Altaf Bukhari's Apni party.
He will not be asked to leave the party but will resign after being denying giving him a mandate.

Her politics is dangerous for the society. She wants a CM chair at any cost. Kashmir jalta hai toh jalney doo, mufti'youn ko bas kursi doo.
