A couple of weeks ago I posted about the energy price cap which was set to lead to UK domestic energy costs climbing to £3500 per year. On Thursday last week the government published a new cap mechanism that will limit this to £2500. So time to update the numbers....
2. Check the temperature of your hot water - heating water to above 60 degrees is a waste, especially as for most uses we mix it with cold water.
3. Heat less food - more salads- microwave and use a slow cooker. Could also be better for us :-)
