Nolan strips the gods out of The Odyssey entirely. Only goddesses show up, and then only as PTSD hallucinations. Nolan’s apologists will say that he did this because he was going for a more “grounded” film. Oh okay. So then why does Ancient Greece have the demographic makeup of Los Angeles circa 2026? Why is there a tiny little woman running around pretending to be a dude? Why is there an Asian guy delivering the line “we’re Greeks from Ithaca”? Grounded? Really? Grounded in what? The apologists are letting Nolan have his cake and eat it too, like always.

The problem starts with Emily Wilson, the woman who translated The Odyssey. She describes Odysseus as a "soldier with a traumatic past" and a "colonial invader". Something that is nowhere, absolutely NOWHERE, stated in Homer's epic!

Also, she calls Odysseus a "migrant," which is completely false. Homer portrays him as an exile, not as a migrant.

Wilson's translation is biased and anti-Greek

Was Kritiker den NGOs im Mittelmeer seit Jahren vorwerfen, ist nun auf Aufnahmen von Frontex zu sehen, die von Le Figaro ausgewertet wurden.

Zu sehen ist, wie mutmaßliche Schleuser Migranten direkt an ein Beiboot der Sea-Watch 5 übergeben. Vermummte Männer in paramilitärischer Kleidung geben Handzeichen. Die Übergabe erfolgt auf offener See. Anschließend fahren die Schleuser unbehelligt davon. Laut Le Figaro ermittelt die italienische Justiz wegen des Verdachts der Beihilfe zur illegalen Einwanderung.

Es reicht.

Kein einziger Euro Steuergeld darf mehr an diese NGOs fließen, die Teil dieses Migrationssystems sind. Der Geldhahn muss endlich vollständig zugedreht werden. Wer illegale Migration fördert oder erleichtert, darf dafür nicht auch noch von europäischen Steuerzahlern finanziert werden, sondern muss strafrechtlich verfolgt und zur Rechenschaft gezogen werden.

A user HACKED Rotten Tomatoes on the asmongold subreddit (parsed the json data) and found the REAL REVIEW SCORE for Christopher Nolan's film The Odyssey and discovered that out of 886 active users only 498 rated it positivity leaving the true score around: 56.2%

A score of 97% is mathematically impossible (combined with faked ticket sales) and this is looking more and more like widespread FRAUD by the Hollywood Industry on a MASSIVE scale.

Interestingly enough, 56.2% is not far off from the Metacritic data which has normal reviewers (non critics/bots) which rate the film at 51%.

Needless to say despite the reported numbers/revenue (and opening at box office numbers) its looking like smoke and mirrors, the film is being propped up to LOOK like a success but in reality is a CATACLYSMIC financial failure. (might not even break even)

I also have a sneaking suspicion they are manipulating ticket sales buy preordering tickets and very likely canceling those orders at the very last second, otherwise, they are BURNING money ($375 million already) it seems desperate—they are in too deep.

If you ask me Movie Theaters should SUE The Odyssey/Christopher Nolan etc. because they are hurting ticket sales with their dummy seats and its causing people to skip the movie (rather than sit in terrible seats) this is Fraud and I think there is room for a MASSIVE Lawsuit.

And to think, all of this because they couldn't just RESPECT Greek Culture/Mythology and Historical Fiction and JUST. CAST. PALE. ACTORS. and stay true to the source material.

Erdogan has spent nearly $1 billion building a global school network that investigators say is used to export political Islam and target his opponents abroad.

According to a report by the Belgium-based human rights group Solidarity with Others, Turkey's state-funded Maarif Foundation educates around 30,000 students in 34 countries while helping Ankara seize control of schools previously linked to the Gülen movement.

Since 2016, the foundation has reportedly been involved in the closure, confiscation, or forced transfer of 162 schools across 29 countries, taking direct control of 131 institutions and affecting around 7,800 teachers and staff.

The report alleges Turkey used diplomatic pressure, security agreements, raids, deportations, and property seizures to force countries including Afghanistan, Mali, Niger, Sudan, Venezuela, Zambia, and Liberia to hand schools over to Maarif.

State funding for the foundation has exceeded 27.7 billion lira (about $900 million) since its creation. The report concludes there is a reasonable basis to investigate the campaign as persecution amounting to a crime against humanity under the Rome Statute.

Turkey is just one of several state actors that fund Islamists on a global scale.
Iran and Qatar are two other examples, with both heavily focused on spreading Islamism in Europe.

Παλιά αλλοδαπός δεν μπορούσε να έχει επιχείρηση, παρά μόνο αν ελάμβανε ειδική άδεια ΠΡΙΝ έρθει στην χώρα. Αυτό προστάτευε την οικονομία και τον πληθυσμό.
