Important Update Regarding the DCENT App Wallet
To date, abnormal asset transfer cases have been identified involving the DCENT App Wallet. So far, we have not confirmed any impact originating from DCENT Hardware Wallets themselves.
Please follow the guidance below based on how you use the DCENT app.
If you hold assets in the DCENT App Wallet, or if the same recovery phrase is used for both your DCENT App Wallet and a hardware wallet:
Please update the DCENT app to the latest version before transferring any assets to a secure hardware wallet or another trusted wallet address.
• Update the DCENT app before transferring any assets.
• Do not initiate transactions through the DCENT App Wallet before updating the app.
• If the same recovery phrase is used in the DCENT App Wallet, action is required regardless of where that recovery phrase was originally generated.
If you only use your DCENT Hardware Wallet with the DCENT app:
No additional action is required for your hardware wallet if you have never entered or restored that hardware wallet’s recovery phrase in the DCENT App Wallet.
⚠️ Please remain vigilant against impersonation and phishing attempts.
• DCENT will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key, nor will we ask you to send assets to a separate wallet address for recovery or compensation.
• Do not follow recovery or compensation instructions, wallet addresses, or links sent through DMs, email, social media, or other unofficial channels.
We are prioritizing the investigation into the related cases and will provide further updates through our official channels as soon as the cause, scope of impact, and additional response measures are confirmed.

Important Update: Who Needs to Take Action
We’ve published a step-by-step guide to help DCENT users quickly check whether the recent App Wallet action applies to them.
You need to take action if:
• You first installed the DCENT app before Nov 5, 2025, and
• You made transactions using the App Wallet on a version earlier than v8.1.0
You do NOT need to take action if:
• You first installed the app on or after Nov 5, 2025, or
• You only used a DCENT Hardware Wallet (Biometric Wallet, DCENT S, DCENT X) and never signed transactions with the App Wallet
Fastest way to check:
1. Open the DCENT app (https://t.co/tzYgsyzodX)
2. Tap “Check if action is needed” on the Urgent Security Action Notice Pop Up windows
3. Follow the result shown in the app
If the app says “Asset transfer action required”:
→ Update to the latest DCENT app first
→ Then follow the asset migration guide
If the app says “We can’t confirm if action is required”:
→ This does not mean you are safe
→ Check your installation date and App Wallet usage manually
If you are still unsure, please follow the guidance in the full article and treat yourself as subject to the action.

⚠️ Important scam warning
• Official website: https://t.co/SvluBk82Ra
• DCENT does not have a CTO, developer, technical support team, or recovery team contacting users through X DMs.
• Anyone who contacts you claiming they can help recover your assets, check your wallet, provide compensation, or guide you through a transfer is not an official DCENT representative.
DCENT will never ask for your recovery phrase, private key, or ask you to send assets to a wallet address for recovery or compensation.
Important Notice
We have detected abnormal asset transfers involving the DCENT App Wallet and are currently conducting an urgent investigation.
Based on our initial findings, the issue appears to be limited to the DCENT App Wallet.
If either of the following applies to you, we strongly recommend transferring your assets as soon as possible to a secure hardware wallet or another trusted wallet address:
• You hold any assets, regardless of amount, in the DCENT App Wallet.
• You use the same mnemonic phrase for both the DCENT App Wallet and a hardware wallet.
⚠️ Please be alert for scams.
Do not send assets to any wallet address provided through DMs or unofficial channels, and do not click links or follow transfer instructions from unverified sources.
We will provide further updates through this official account as soon as we confirm the cause, scope of impact, and necessary response measures.

I completely understand why you feel this way, especially after what happened. You’re right to pause if you’re uncomfortable, and I don’t want you to feel pressured into making any transfer or update before you’re confident about what you’re doing.
The recent breach has understandably shaken trust, and I’m sorry for the fear and uncertainty this has caused. Your concern about phishing and creating a new wallet address is also reasonable please don’t act on any unexpected links, messages, or instructions claiming to be from D’CENT.
For now, the safest thing is to take your time and verify everything through official D’CENT channels before making any transaction. If something doesn’t look right, stop and ask us first.
We take what happened seriously. We’re working to understand the incident, strengthen our security measures, and communicate clearly with affected users. I know that saying “trust us” isn’t enough right now the goal is to give you information you can independently verify so you can make your own decision about when and how to proceed.
Thank you for being candid about how you’re feeling. Your funds and your trust matter to us, and we’ll do our best to help you through this without adding more uncertainty.
I don't like the idea of 'updating' anything before I do a transfer to an outside wallet from the 'DCENT' ecosystem!!
This is outrageous...I'm afraid to do anything at this point!
I also don't like the idea of creating a new wallet address on my hardware wallet - feels like I'm 'trapped' - paranoid about 'phishing/hackers' -
I THOUGHT DCENT was solid!
Your wallet shouldn’t have been affected at all. Can you see a transaction hash showing that your tokens were sent to a different or unknown wallet address?
If so, please provide the transaction hash so we can look into it and investigate further.
@FlareNetworks My wallet has been hacked, and my FLR, LINK, ETH, AVAX, and ONDO holdings have been drained. I had followed all security precautions; the wallet had even been installed prior to November 5th.
@DCENTWALLETS i haven't made any transaction for few months but when i clicked on my biometric polkadot wallet, there is a send transaction for -735 DOT and it has been refreshing with the green wheel spinning for over 24 hrs now, anyone else ?
@B_oversoon You don’t have to panic. The first thing you need to do is confirm exactly when you installed your wallet. If it was installed on or before November 5, 2025, please update the app to the latest version.
Also, send over the wallet address that your tokens were sent to so we can look into this and investigate further.
Was your wallet installed on or before November 5, 2025, and have you tried any of the fixes mentioned in the recent announcement update?
Feel free to send over the transaction hash as well, so we can properly look into this and assist you further.
This doesn’t necessarily affect your accumulated points or early distribution because they aren’t stored on the wallet app itself—they’re tied to your wallet account. So, you can always recover your seed phrase on any compatible wallet and still have all your accumulated points intact.
@realwarrior313 This is clearly a scam. We never request seed phrases under any circumstances. Please send the webpage link so we can review it and have it blacklisted.
Can XRP be used in strategies involving lending and vaults? Absolutely.
@HugoPhilion breaks down how XRP can be used as collateral to access yield strategies.
That includes wrapping XRP as FXRP on @FlareNetworks, borrowing stablecoins against it, and deploying those assets into other protocols, alongside vault-based strategies on XRPL and Flare.

@bitinter You shouldn’t have only received half of the rewards, since all payments are processed automatically and should be paid in full. If you don’t mind, we can properly look into this for you.
