Income Tax is Literally Harassing the Genuine Taxpayer

Now they started sending notices to the Genuine Taxpayer who has claimed deduction in ITR Which is not reflected in Form 16.

This year they have demanded additional diclosure for Claiming Deduction Like loan ac no, policy no, reciept no Etc.,

Why they are not cross verifying the claim with data given by Taxpayer. Why they are Asking TaxPayer to Verify the Deductions ??

You have strong AI, Put all data in AI and cross verify and then send notices to Taxpayer who has claimed wrong deduction with exact description and Amount.

This type of general Intimation Create Panic in Genuine Taxpayer.

Hope they learn and Stop This Kind of Harassment.

Now, if an employee hasn't reported any deduction claims to employer but has claimed those in ITR, does that mean he is a tax evader ?

Assessees claiming genuine deductions are receiving this email treating them as tax evaders and creating panic!

Also, when will @IncomeTaxIndia serve Notice on the MLA who lit up Rs. 70 lakhs worth firecrackers on a wedding ? Probably never!!

Dear @IncomeTaxIndia , fantastic move nudging the 3% of citizens who actually pay income tax. Truly groundbreaking work. 👏

But just wondering, when will you gather the courage to nudge the real parasites draining this country?

1. The corrupt politicians looting public money,

2. The businessmen and corporate cronies exposed in global reports,

3. The government employees who treat bribery like a daily routine, the Ministers, MLAs and MPs whose assets grow faster than India’s GDP, and the ‘legends’ who took massive loans and comfortably escaped the country?

Or is your ‘nudge’ button only designed for the obedient taxpayers who can’t fight back? What a joke.
