Community activist, not a paid lobby for developers. “Forget YIMBY vs. NIMBY, it’s speculators vs. affordability”; anything else is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
So we took those concerns to Mayor @AndrewKnack and he said "I think they [developers] were abusing the way our laws were set up to build a lodging house when they shouldn't have had a lodging house." #yeg@CityofEdmonton
Alberta Needs Stability - Not Political Gamesmanship
After years of fueling separatist rhetoric, weakening institutions, lowering referendum thresholds, and pushing constitutional conflict, the UCP suddenly wants Albertans to believe they are federalists.
It’s simply not credible.
You cannot spend years feeding division and then distance yourself from it once the political winds shift.
Albertans are frustrated and many of those frustrations are legitimate. But frustration with Ottawa is not the same thing as putting national unity, investment confidence, and Alberta’s stability at risk.
This government has spent years trying to speak to federalists and separatists at the same time.
And now the contradictions are catching up with them.
Alberta can be strong without being isolated.
We can stand up for Alberta while still respecting institutions, the rule of law, and the long-term stability this province depends on.
That’s the conversation we should actually be having.
Take a listen.

We are saying no to a data centre in Île-des-Chênes because there are big threats to the environment and not much benefit to the economy.
Our message to any tech company out there… if you want to build technology with a thoughtful, human-centred approach that puts humanity first, then Manitoba is open for business. 🦬
CMHC Becomes Canada's Biggest Source Of New Construction Rentals: It's MASSIVE
It's been coming for years but it went on Steroids to the point CMHC had to throttle back recently

@KybrdWrrr@DarrellSto67629 And the education property tax is do these private school and charter school minority lobbying for millions. Imagine stealing from hardworking Albertans to give to a few rich people who really don’t need it. My kids schools have less and less teachers with more and more students.
@CTVNationalNews 300,000 unverified signatures according to a court adjudicated liar and fraudster who stole his Alzheimer's disabled elderly relatives life savings.

In a province where schools fees are increasing, AISH being slaughtered, shelters and orgs loosing funding, ERs overflowing…
The last thing I want to hear about is a good damn referendum to nowhere.
Counted by hand, nonetheless.

@CalgaryRecall He’s a Robin Hood, where she steals from the poor to give to the rich. He is very human, honest, and every decision I’ve heard is for the improvement of the many. He has improved health care & education, where we have had it dismantled. Did you hear Lagrange today? Shame.

1.85million of Albertan’s dollars for an enrolment of 280 kids. Which they then charge $15,000 dollars per kid.
@BarbLarochelle@MondoABx@gilmcgowan@HUMraju This is why my education tax went up. Not because of public school needs, because these grifters are stealing money from hard working Albertans to subsidize private schools.
