@yamreid ALSO (sorry you've got me on a thread roll here): have you read American Gods by Neil Gaiman? Lots of jumping-off points for learning more about who all the gods are all over the world!

@yamreid I studied Latin in my state education and still didn't learn this til I got to posh uni. Recently did a translation where I learned so much about Norse mythology and how it travelled down to Italy with the Lombards, though - all fascinating!
