Donald Trump has begun actively destroying hundreds of trees in Washington, D.C., and the lack of mainstream coverage is absolutely criminal.

Please scream this from the rooftops and spread the word immediately! These aren't dead, dying, or invasive trees — these are perfectly healthy, decades-old oak and maple trees that are being brutally clear-cut. This disturbing footage from Rick Maese at The Washington Post exposes the truth: the Trump administration is massacring upwards of 500 healthy, historic trees at the East Potomac Golf Course.

But honestly, why are we surprised? This is just the latest chapter in Trump's complete and utter disregard for our nation's historic capital. It follows the exact same playbook as his shocking demolition of the White House East Wing, and the disastrous, botched "renovations" of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool that left an iconic American landmark falling apart and peeling. To make matters even more sickening, they've even been dumping toxic debris from the demolished East Wing right onto this very public parkland!

The National Park Service is trying to gaslight the public by claiming this ecological disaster is just routine maintenance, but we know the truth: they are gutting public land to build a glitzy, exclusive championship golf course. Residents across the city are rightfully furious and disgusted. Witnessing 500+ majestic trees being ripped out of the ground is an absolute horror show for the people living in this city.

Be prepared for J6 Part 2, because it is probably going to be a lot worse than Part 1:

“Earlier this year, The New York Times asked Donald Trump whether he regretted not ordering the National Guard to seize voting machines in swing states after the 2020 election. His answer was chilling: "Well, I should have."

Trump is telling us what he plans to do in this year's midterms. He is trying to rig the elections and subvert their results. While we have been able to stop him so far, there is no guarantee that we will continue to prevail in the weeks ahead.

Yet despite the obvious signs of Trump's plan, too many reporters and pundits downplay it. They adhere to the false neutrality that has come to dominate legacy media coverage over the last decade.

No phrase captures this attitude more clearly than the admonition to take Trump seriously but not literally. The suggestion is that only out-of-touch elites pay attention to his actual words. Real voters — and those in the media who claim to speak for them — know to focus on his vibes.

When it comes to voting and elections, this advice has been catastrophically wrong. In 2020, Trump's words before the election were prophetic about what he would do afterward. His refusal to concede foreshadowed the attack on Jan. 6, 2021.

Trump is once again in power, and he is again telling us his plan. He has weaponized the entire federal government — including the Department of Justice and the U.S. Postal Service — to make voting more difficult.

He is threatening to deploy federal agents at the polls and to disrupt voting. And he is reaching for every other tool of election rigging: partisan gerrymandering, restrictions on voter registration, attacks on mail-in voting and the use of bogus lists to purge eligible citizens from the rolls.

But most dangerous is what he has been saying for more than a year about the counting, tabulation and certification of election results. Despite what the U.S. Constitution says, he has repeatedly claimed the power to direct this process.

The Bureau of Land Management approved blasting through 100-foot canyon walls at the entrance to the world's longest art gallery. So oil tankers can drive through it.

Nine Mile Canyon, Utah holds more than 10,000 cultural, historical and archaeological resources, including over 1,000 known rock art sites containing more than 10,000 individual images. People have used this canyon for at least 8,000 years.

The blasting happens in Gate Canyon, the entrance corridor into that gallery. Federal surveys have already found 47 historic sites along this one stretch of road alone. And it's not only the rock art. Threatened Mexican spotted owls use cliff habitat in the canyon, including areas near the proposed blasting. BLM did the minimum environmental review required and barreled ahead anyway, to move oil out of the Uinta Basin faster. Up to 1,000 vehicles a day, roughly half of them heavy tankers.

This isn't BLM's first swing at this road. Duchesne County tried the same realignment in 2015 and again in 2022. Both times, public opposition killed it. This time, BLM posted it quietly in March with no public notice, denied conservation groups' request to even weigh in, and approved it in April anyway.

It's the same playbook that just got this administration stopped at Big Bend National Park, except "stopped" is doing a lot of work in that sentence. There, a judge halted construction October 2nd, but only after bulldozers had already torn through the park’s grounds. A win in court doesn't un-crush what's already crushed.

Three groups sued over Gate Canyon this week. But a lawsuit takes months. A blasting crew takes days.

At 28 years old, a young man decided to walk 25 miles in a single day. Not for exercise. He was walking the length of his district, stopping along the way to talk to people and hear what was happening in their lives.

By the time he was halfway through, something was very wrong. He was exhausted, nauseated and vomiting. But he kept walking.

He finished the 25 miles and went home. Then he slept for 36 hours. His parents, alarmed by this, took him to the emergency room where they found out his blood sugar was 900.

The young man had undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes and was in diabetic ketoacidosis, a life-threatening condition that can lead to coma and death without treatment. He was then rushed to the ICU.

But thankfully, that young man survived, and story doesn’t end there.

Once he was able to leave the hospital, he needed regular insulin to stay alive. His first 30-day supply cost $684. Young men his age don’t carry that kind of money. So he put it on a credit card.

And that experience changed the direction of James Talarico’s young life.

Read that again. The man running covert operations is now also the man who approves whether those covert operations are legal. No separation. No independent check. Just Ellis, grading his own homework, in the most secretive agency in the federal government

There is no oversight body watching this happen in real time. No confirmation hearing. No public vote. One trusted Trump loyalist just erased the one internal brake that existed inside the CIA's legal chain

This is the same Michael Ellis who Trump tried to install as NSA general counsel back in 2020 and got blocked for being too political to trust with classified legal judgment

So now the Trump administration is sending out one-time $500 checks to people who bought their health insurance through https://t.co/aT2oRibUoZ and paid the full price because they didn’t qualify for taxpayer subsidies.

In other words, people who’s income is roughly 400% above poverty and could already afford to pay full price for their health insurance are getting a $500 check from the president. And guess when those checks started showing up? October 1. Weeks before the midterm election.

The checks come with a letter from Trump lying about why you’re getting your $500. And here’s the really interesting part: this isn’t being distributed evenly across the country. Of the roughly $475 million being sent out, 71% of it, or $339 million, is going to people in just 13 states.

Those 13 states happen to be major midterm battlegrounds. They contain eight of the nine Senate races and 10 of the 12 governors’ races that nonpartisan analysts consider the most competitive.

Call it whatever you want. I’ll call it what it is: a bribe.

After 2018 when Beto came close and Dems flipped 12 state house seats, they took away straight ticket voting.

We are still one of only 7 states that doesn’t allow online voter registration and registration closes 30 days before an election.

They are constantly moving/closing polling locations to make it as confusing as possible.

They say you can’t gerrymander a statewide election, to which I say BS, because all of these voter suppression tactics come from heavily gerrymandered local and state districts.

It is going to take a Herculean effort, but we HAVE to take our power back this year. Republicans have been clear about their intentions. If they retain even a small majority in the state house, they are redrawing the lines first thing in 2027 to make sure that we can’t get close again.

It is the most jacked up slap in the face of democracy imaginable.

For over decades all 3 brothers used their status to recruit women through clubs, parties, dating apps and promoters, and lure them with luxury trips and exclusive events, THEN DRUG, ISOLATE and RAPE them, sometimes TOGETHER and with other men. More than 60 WOMEN have come forward saying they were raped by one or more of the brothers. ELEVEN women testified in court!

The evidence was fucking horrific: women drugged, incapacitated, restrained and raped. Multiple men and MINORS were involved. Jurors saw texts, emails, photographs and videos.

On March 9, 2026, a federal jury UNANIMOUSLY convicted ALL THREE on EVERY COUNT.

Seven months later, they still haven’t been sentenced.

Now their wealthy Jewish family has hired Alan Dershowitz, Jeffrey Epstein’s and Trump’s former lawyer. Dershowitz’s correspondence says his work includes exploring “executive clemency and judicial reversal.”

These men aren’t accused. THEY’RE CONVICTED.

Yet this story has received nowhere near the sustained national attention its scale deserves.

October 27 is Sentencing day.
