Viewport. Did you know cycles can handle billions of polygons practically in real time with instances? I discovered that with 12k instances of a lump of mortar with almost a million polygons each! This version's a little more reasonable
I'm geo nodes noob so this is probably super inefficient but I tried. If anyone who's good with nodes is interested in helping make this a useable tool lmk!

Mixing anything with Tex Coords will distort them but this can move the texture. The best blending mode for this is Linear Light, which will distort textures in place. Learn more in our course Master Procedural Texturing in Blender, coming next week!
