Google recently released a new AI tool that purports to turn anything into 'engaging' podcast-style "deep-dives". Having just read this excellent article on the AI-enshittifcation, I thought it'd be a good test case.

Goodness, it was grim.

It's like the AI was trained specifically on the most infuriating and inane podcast 'banter', and it just strips the source material of any nuance, substance and skilled storytelling. Instead, you get... this.

Please read James' article (which I'd recommend regardless) and then look how Google AI massacred my boy in this "engaging audio discussion".

@notdan As USD is still a World's reserve currency, U.S. government just "prints" some more cash and sends it to Israel. No U.S. taxpayer was hurt there. This only makes global inflation worse as there will be more cash in circulation.
