@RickyBo05265471 @CLR7111 @SethAbramson None of those studies she mentioned are specifically trans medications. Many men and women need to be on hormone replacement therapy drugs as they age. These studies were testing the effects of these drugs to cancer risk.

@katheelynn @rebecca_jivan @SethAbramson The meds you are referencing in that CNN article are hormone replacement therapy drugs that many menopausal women take. They are using mice to study cancer rates of these drugs. The drugs are occasionally prescribed to transgender people, but they are not the main consumer.

@Tryingnot2cry @Matthewtravis08 @RepJasmine The ATC recordings have them responding in the affirmative. There were two other jets approaching to land on runway 1, the main north/south runway. I suspect the heli crew had sight on a different plane, and were not expecting a flight to be coming in on the lesser used runway.

People in the SDCWA have the highest water rates in the country to pay for the Carlsbad Desal plant while it only supplies less than 10% of the county’s water. $3,400/acre foot. National average is less than $40/acre foot.
