@NDLiteracy Student choice is how I have students be in control of their learning. There are select times where they can have choice in what activities they are going to do...in reading, math, and writing....choosing what to write makes it more relevant and engaging
@NDLiteracy A5. Facebook and pinterest are great motivators for me. I love seeing new and fun things that I could try out in my classroom. I also love seeing what my colleagues are doing or reading.
@LeAnnAl65068253@NDLiteracy In my regular ed classroom I have visuals and writing helpers.....writing can feel like such an overwhelming task that these aides can make the process less stressful!
@Melissa82466090@NDLiteracy I have lots of different materials as well. The students love the choices. I also have word work games for my students that they love!
@NDLiteracy I have various spaces within the classroom where my students can write. I have a couple little tables, their regular seats, on the floor, and of course my teacher table. They can choose where they want to write. I really just want my students writing, so wherever is great!
@BrandiFjeld@NDLiteracy I use Bloomz and I love it! I share all my creativity with my parents on there!! They really love it and I get a lot of thank yous for sharing information!!
@NaTeal@NDLiteracy I love google. I share resources on there as well!! I create a lot of my own resources too and google drive is just an easy way to share them!
@NDLiteracy A2. Kristin Hall I think that we can use various different social media sites. I share a lot of resources in google drive as well with some of my teaching partners. I also felt like at our striving readers inservice the other day, I was able to network a lot!
@Gretche90149220@NDLiteracy I had a few teachers where I wasn't the favorite....it is blatantly know when you aren't and it doesn't make being in class fun or easy!
@LeAnnAl65068253@NDLiteracy I like that you chose a professor. I never even considered discussing a professor, but I had a few who really believed in me and that really does make a difference!
@NDLiteracy A1. My favorite teacher was Madame Pirio....she was my fourth grade teacher. She was so kind and really seemed to understand me as a person, as she did all her students. She was the teacher that was fun and engaging!! I have very fond memories of her!
@NDLiteracy I have never done an edchat before and can't say I am disappointed. I really enjoyed this and have many new books on my list to read!! Thank you! I am looking forward to the next one!
