I wrote and produced a song called Trail Rides and it’s sitting at the top of Tidal’s Best New R&B Playlist.
Crazy.
Thank you Tidal!

@thelankiee@YotaiSeon@beatboyjw Ahhhh so soothe is creating space by ducking the midrange of the instrumental instead of the whole spectrum like trackspacer does. Fire. Thanks for the game bro. I can’t wait to give this try 🤞🏾
@thelankiee@YotaiSeon@beatboyjw That’s smart, so like a side chain from the vocal bus to the instrumental? I normally use Wavesfactory Trackspacer for that. I use soothe 2 to create breathing room between my vocal and reverb/delay channel. I’ll have to give that trick a try.
@HardHandzz@natemixing That’s pretty dope, I’ve been using Lewitt lct1040 > 1073 > LA-3A. I love the weight on her vocals i’m wondering if I could achieve a similar weight on my vocals by going from a Stam SA-1B into my LA-3A outboard or by just layering hella leads like she’s doing.
@HumbleVxbe@maarcus It’s just a cohesive project with a specific and structured sound. It used to be pretty normal for an artist to lock in with 1 or 2 producers for the entirety of an album.
@GabaMusicWorks@natemixing I appreciate the game, I’ll dive into it. I normally have Gold Clip on my master with, Pro-L 2 and Machine Head. Can’t wait to hear what it does to my high end.
