That's sad that many of these Indian Chinese had to leave India for Canada and other western countries due to the policies and persecution of PM Nehru's Govt. Most of them are Hakka.
The Hakka Chinese are the most entrepreneurial and hardworking people. They long faced persecution by other Han and Manchu Chinese and emigrated around the world, including India. And did great things wherever they went.
For example, Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore who built the city-state from ground up into a modern developed country was a Hakka. Thailand's former PM Thakshin and Taiwan's former PM Tsai Ing-Wen were Hakka. Some say even Deng Xiaoping of China was a Hakka.
IIT-Madras reports rise in Blackbuck population(12 to 77). They were about to go extinct on 2018. Removing stray dogs, creating open space, grassland, & speed limit helped to revive blackbuck population. IIT-M has to fight multiple court battle against rich AC room dog lovers 1/2
Western countries acquired land, cut trees & industrialised before the climate activists were born. Now when it’s India’s turn to build infrastructure, these guys have woken up. LOL

India plans to send IAF officers to train UK's fighter pilots
"India will have our fighter pilots training Britain's trainees in advanced jet flying. I don't think you can ask for a better endorsement of our capabilities," says India's UK envoy Vikram Doraiswamy
With 3rd Indian ☢️ ballistic missile submarine INS Aridhaman entering service today, India’s Strategic Forces Command finally has numbers to keep at least 1 of these ‘boomers’ on deterrent patrol at all times.
MAJOR boost to India’s nuclear deterrent.
Venezuelan Oil Exports Hit 6-Year High as India Fills China Gap
Indian refiners are emerging as the largest buyers of Venezuelan crude oil, filling the void left by former top importer China.
Shipments to India soared by more than fourfold in March, surpassing those to the US, with Indian refiners purchasing a combined 343,000 barrels a day for loading in March.
Venezuelan production continues to ramp up, fueled by a tide of imported diluents, with countrywide exports now standing at 890,000 barrels a day, the highest since December 2019

Read the full Morpheus report on MakeMyTrip.
Every single section screams a company with monopoly-grade market power, and then asks me to be scared of it.
Hotels can't leave the platform. They get deboosted into invisibility if they don't comply on pricing. MMYT deposits cash upfront to lock in exclusive peak-season inventory. Former employees describe it as "money in the bank." The hotels know it's happening, the industry associations know, competitors know. And the platform still has 50%+ OTA share after all of it became public. That's not a vulnerability. That's the definition of an entrenched network effect.
The regulatory angle is noise. CCI fined MMYT $26M in 2022. The company appealed, paid 10%, and the hearing has been kicked to April 2026. Four years, no resolution. The "new investigation" Morpheus found is sourced from a single academic paper. The Digital Competition Bill is shelved pending a market study.
Morpheus's own competitive data undermines the short thesis. They quote an OYO exec saying Agoda grew "200-300%." Off what? Under 1% of OYO's business. They cite one consultant on Marriott wallet share. One chain sourced from one person is an anecdote, not a trend. Meanwhile MMYT just crossed $1B in corporate travel bookings and the report's rebuttal is that one Grant Thornton account might switch to Yatra.
The accounting section is $10M in Go Air receivables and $34M in potential CCI liability on a company sitting on $830M cash. That's not a balance sheet risk to anyone reasonable. That's a rounding error honestly.
Now ask why this drops today. Indian markets are selling off. The rupee is weak. Dollar investors in Indian names are already underwater on FX. Allocators are jittery and the bid is thin. You don't need a real catalyst in this tape. You just need a scary headline on a NASDAQ-listed Indian name and the market does the rest.
Imagine doing 103 expert interviews and coming up with this slop!!

🚨🇷🇺🇨🇺Russia breaks Cuba's oil blockade
Russian tanker carrying 100,000 tons of crude arrives in Cuba, awaiting unloading, Russian Transport Ministry said.
In January, Trump announced that Cuba would no longer receive any oil, which has since affected supplies.
Very big deal. @HyunSongShin is a legit rock star of financial and monetary economics. Reminiscent of Raghuram Rajan being named to run the Reserve Bank of India or Stan Fischer to run the Bank of Israel.
MUST READ: Coal remains king — even in 2026.
"... Across Asia, a sharp drop in liquefied natural gas supplies is pushing major importers back toward coal, undermining LNG’s long-held role as a stable energy anchor..."

Credit score over merit? This is outright injustice!!
Govt admits appointment offers of 20 candidates in Public Sector Banks were cancelled during last 3 years due to insufficient CIBIL/credit history - SBI alone accounts for Eleven!!
It effectively penalizes candidates for ‘financial vulnerability’, particularly those from poor and middle class backgrounds who may have taken educational or medical loans in good faith but are struggling to repay them on due dates due to lack of employment.
Even one unjust exclusion from public employment is unacceptable - 20 is indefensible.
This sets a dangerous precedent: socio-economic background becoming a silent filter in public recruitment, undermining the constitutional promise of equality of opportunity in public employment.

The U.S. committed a blatant and desperate crime by attacking a freshwater desalination plant on Qeshm Island. Water supply in 30 villages has been impacted.
Attacking Iran's infrastructure is a dangerous move with grave consequences. The U.S. set this precedent, not Iran.
As a Telugu I was so impressed with the love for their mother tongue in Tamilnadu. What many north of Chennai fail to understand is that Tamilians are highly conscious and sensitive to any signs of language imposition. Having said that they respect all languages and shower love. Recent state government advertisement on the eve of the Republic Day says it all, ‘Unity-yes, Uniformity-no’.
