You may know the catchy Great Depression-era tune, “Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?” but what about the writer of the song, Jay Gorney? Bob Kosovsky, Librarian for the Music & Recorded Sound Division, spoke to the @SongbookFdn about of Gorney.
