I wasn't happy with a lot of the free pixel fonts I found online, so I made my own
7x10, crisp, narrow, looks great in 10pt, 20pt, etc.

@mreliptik Up to video 12 now - a great tutorial! Even learned some tricks not related to juicing 👍
One thing though - not sure why the decision was made to have the ball, the trail and the particles be white against a light gray background, I have to squint to see it every time 😅
@NickADobos@pvncher >But AI does that now. You don’t need to make thousands of decisions.
Game development is literally 99% making thousands of decisions. An AI model will only be able to make your perfect game if you are able to describe it perfectly and guess what that means - decisions, decisions
@mike_dreach now apologize and say that the message was mistakenly sent out too early and your research isn't done yet, but do not tell them what the research is 😈
@IRCSS Yeah, I can believe that. On top of that, scraping has become very difficult nowadays because the AI companies ruined it for everyone else. That Cloudflare "are you a bot" screen is the bane of my existence 😅
@IRCSS My poor little computer struggled for 2 days to run a local LLM (gemma-4-12B-it-GGUF) and classify all those reviews, so for your dataset it would take forever, but if you have the capabilities, I highly suggest looking into review analysis as well for more in-depth insights.
Can you still make indie games sustainabily with 20k new yearly releases on Steam? This and others was a question that popped up in our mind as we were releasing our latest game on Steam. To answer them, I did a deep dive in the Steam indie market
