The first General Convention of RSP in Chitwan demonstrated very poor performances not only election process but also food and lodge. The party cannot escape from. In my opinion, cadre affiliated to Party will go home with negative feelings and Party will burden financial loss.

Nepali politicians used to say that our Constitution had a defect because no previous Govt. could obtain a two thirds majority in the House of Representatives. However, in the election held on 5th March, 2026, Rastriya Swatantra Party emerged with nearly a two thirds majority.
