Blue Wall check-in:
-PA: Harris 52–48% with 35% in
-MI: Harris 53–45% with 13% in
-WI: Harris 51–47% with 29% in
All three are setting up for a photo finish right now. Nobody knows anything yet.
Some Democrats are getting antsy as vote tallies come in - and Trump builds a cushion in GOP friendly areas. Said one senior Democratic analyst: “She needs an Election Day Hail Mary.” Still a ways to go … #gapol
everything still points to this looking like 2022: Overall early picture is scary but Dems are (mostly) getting what they need to where they need it most
Trump in May: "We’re going to win New Jersey.”
Trump two weeks ago: "We're making a move for New Jersey, too."
Harris has been declared the winner there with <30% of the vote counted.
One helluva monkey's paw moment of "The MSG rally might have pushed Harris over the line" and "James Dolan may have inadvertently saved American democracy"
Harris campaign reports they are seeing:
-High Puerto Rican turnout in Philadelphia
-College student enthusiasm (7 hour long lines at Lehigh University)
-Florida: Turnout high among Republicans
-North Carolina: Rural Republican turnout is lower, while high turnout in Durham.
From colleague @holmeslybrand: The Philadelphia Police Department told CNN they were not aware what Trump was referring to and did not know of any issues with voting that required a law enforcement response.
of the many many issues i am militant on perhaps my strongest opinion is that they really were That Good and everyone who acts like they weren't should be disregarded on all music conversations
