So let me get this straight.
You’ve been convicted on three felony gun charges for lying on a federal firearms form about not being a drug user while buying a revolver in 2018 (when you were actively using crack cocaine), then illegally possessing it. 
You pleaded guilty to nine federal tax charges (three felonies and six misdemeanors) for failing to pay at least $1.4 million in taxes on millions in income from 2016-2019, while blowing it on drugs, escorts, and luxury spending. This included evading taxes on income from Burisma and other foreign sources. 
Your business dealings, Burisma board position (while your dad was VP overseeing Ukraine policy), CEFC/China deals, and other foreign payments funneled through shell companies and associates, triggered years of investigations into influence peddling, money laundering concerns, and false statements. (The laptop emails and witness testimony didn’t help the optics.)
You admitted in court to the drug addiction during the relevant period. Your law license was suspended due to the felony convictions.
All of that led to convictions & pleas, which your father then wiped out with a broad pardon covering potential federal offenses from 2014-2024. 
The “what about your paintings?” line doesn’t land when the art sales raised serious questions about buyers paying huge sums for works by someone with no real track record as an artist, right as foreign money flowed in.
People pointing out family dealings, sweetheart loans, or foreign business isn’t “attacking your Mom.” It’s basic scrutiny that applies to everyone in public life, especially when your dad was in office. The convictions happened under investigations that spanned administrations.
Focus on accountability instead of deflection.
