@TexansCommenter@JustinM_NFL I agree. Two tools over technique linemen, a generational reach in the second (regardless that they wanted to trade out), two project LBs. the only picks worth anything were McDonald (hard to screw this up), and Ramsey who I think was a steal. Worst draft of the Caserio era imo
De’Aaron Fox was also linked to his hometown Houston Rockets before being traded to the Spurs. 😳
The Rockets at the time were hesitant to move any pieces of their established young core and rush any trades at any point in the season.

@LEFTLON3@OthelloMooreJr@xxTeeTop It’s not about ease of inclusion. When have you ever heard anyone say “I can’t have a dangling mouthpiece so this game sucks and I won’t buy it?” People buy or don’t buy the game because of gameplay. Equipment is the cherry on the top, not the actual meat of the experience
@OthelloMooreJr@xxTeeTop Well the exclusivity is an entirely different animal and is the core of a lot that’s wrong with the whole thing, yes.But I refuse to acknowledge the argument that a game should play the exact same as it did in 2018 (last gen and same engine as we have today) in favor of equipment
@OthelloMooreJr@xxTeeTop What I mean is, both are important. But equipment is the thing that should take a game from a 9/10 to a 10. The first 9 points should be from quality of gameplay, feel, and realism (don’t get me started on how dogwater EA has been at achieving these).
@OthelloMooreJr@xxTeeTop Sure they’re important, but they’re so at the bottom of the list of importance. Nobody says “I’m not buying Madden/ncaa/2k/fifa because I can’t dangle my mouthpiece.” People derive enjoyment from how sports games play, that’s why they have interest in them in the first place
@OthelloMooreJr@xxTeeTop If I turned the game on and jerseys were just black and white I wouldn’t hold it to the same standard because it’s inherently not the same game. There is a prerequisite because they have licenses for likeness, branding and authenticity that makes it madden/NCAA.
@xxTeeTop Most people determine their enjoyment of the game on how it feels to play, how it actually plays. You’re not looking at a helmet or the mouthpiece when you play the game, those are ancillary things regardless of how easy they are to implement. It’s a sports game, not fashion week
@tommyismoney It shouldn’t have been called a horror movie and I didn’t find it particularly scary, but it was one of the best acted, written
,and directed movies I’ve ever seen
@AyooTexanNation Didn’t like the pick on draft day and don’t like it now. So so many better players available. The only two picks of this class I liked are McDonald and Ramsey
@KurtBenkert Now tell them to fix their 8 year old player models, get rid of the absolute gimmick that’s X factors, go to a physics based engine, and improve blocking. Then, MAYBE it’s worth the price
