@virginmedia I knew there would be a fee, but as I have been a loyal customer for over 11yrs, I would expect a reduction in the fee, especially as there have been so many issues with outages, poor service & signal over the past year with out an a apology or comp for my loss of earning wfh.

So after 11 years with @virginmedia had to renew contract in April because I moved house, now are charging me £288 cancellation fee. So much for valued custom. No comp for outages during 9-5 when work was being done without notice & poor service. 0 star rating. #CostOfLiving

Looking for a reliable high speed #broadband supplier in the Wigan area as I WFH 3+ days a week, as Virgin Media can't give me a straight answer to when the 7am-5pm constant intermittent speed (upload and down) 'issue' will be sorted.

@virginmedia It's a joke. unreliable, lack of communication when issues are ongoing, and costing me money, @bt_uk what deals have you got and whats the turn around if I cancel my broadband with Virgin.

@virginmedia Was told there is, and it would be sorted by 4pm yesterday when I spoke to someone, then received a text that the issue won't be resolved till the 29th.

@virginmedia So, as of 5pm yesterday, the broadband returned to normal, guessing the config was switched back. As of 7am today, back to being intermittent and little or no upload speed. So, another stressful work day as a digital designer working from home, not having a reliable connection..

@virginmedia no upload and online status says nothing is wrong, but the automated phone line says there is an issue. Would like to talk to an actual person about this...
