@juliebaker76 @TUIUK Hi Julie, you’ll need a lot of luck here. I filed a court claim with Marella Cruises. They didn’t even respond to the courts. The courts have now issued a CCJ against them and they still keep ignoring. Look out for TUI on the next series of “Can’t Pay? We’ll Take it Away”.

I have recently taken Marella Cruises to court and you didn’t reply so a CCJ has been issued against you. Do you intend to pay this or ignore it. If you ignore it I will have to ask the court to enforce it which will cost more money. It seems a bit silly now.

@ghogho121 @TUIUK It’s sensible to demonstrate that you’ve tried sorting it with TUI first though. If you’ve made a complaint and they’ve ignored it then I think it’s fair to use the courts. But TUI need the opportunity to fix it first. Also, there will be a fee payable, but you can recover this.

@ghogho121 @TUIUK I tried calling and DMing but they won’t give any information. You can file a court claim online using the government service. I think it will be more difficult to ignore a letter from the courts than me. If they ignore the court letter then a judgement can be made against them.
