Inflation Facts
Most people think inflation is higher today than under the Biden years and in fact the Fed did raise interest rates over fears of renewed inflation.
But the facts are something else. Under the President’s first term inflation was under 2 per cent a year and ended at 1.2 per cent in 2020.
Then during the Biden years inflation soared to 8 per cent in 2022. A total of 21.4 per cent of price increases.
Then in the second term inflation has averaged about 2.7 or total increases so far even with the tariffs and Iran conflict at 5.4 per cent. So inflation has come down from 8 per cent to around 3 per cent. Gas was most expensive in 2022 at 3.95 a gallon, more expensive than today.
Those are the facts plain and simple.
@JacquiHeinrich@BretBaier That is why I stop watching Fox. If you can’t see the total bias, lies, and inaccurate reporting by these so called news network, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!
@SawyerMerritt@elonmusk Love my model X. Just wish I can get FSD V14 Lite soon. The phantom breaking is terrible especially when it comes to complete stop.
'YOU'RE ANTI-DEMOCRACY': Maryland Gov. Wes Moore was stopped by an angry attendee at the Maryland State Fair on Friday during a choreographed visit.
"You should be ashamed of yourself," said the man about Moore's mid-decade redistricting priority, just upheld by the courts.
@JoshShapiroPA You weren’t complaining back in 2022: Pennsylvania’s highest statewide average regular gas price during the Biden presidency was about $5.07 per gallon on June 12, 2022, according to AAA.
