Energy can be measured in watt-hours for example.

This is also the Holocene interglacial warming period which is why glaciers started melting about 20,000 years ago.
The next glaciation will just be a continuation of this ice age.

@wideawake_media All national "decisions" of this nature should be laws enacted by accountable members of congress. Internationally they should be treaties ratified by the senate. In both cases they must normally be approved by the President.

No more climate regulations by unelected bureaucrats.

@PeterDClack Sea levels are still rising about 1 foot every century because interglacial warming that started 20,000 years ago hasn’t stopped yet.

It will stop when the next glaciation begins just like it has many times in this ice age.
