Check out our new review/opinion on molecular recording of transcriptional events by @sierra_lear. We write about where the field is, where it might be going, and what's stopping us from being there now. https://t.co/gQAPWz0V14
Thrilled to share a preprint (https://t.co/kaW2XJH9lD) combining single-cell RNA-seq and multiplex reporter assays. Amazing collab with stem cells and genomics wizard @SRegalad0, and many folks in @JShendure lab. (1/14)
Today we release in @biorxivpreprint a pair of related methods, DNA Ticker Tape & ENGRAM, for multiplex, temporally ordered genomic recording of cell lineage histories, enhancer & signal transduction activities, respectively led by the brilliant @_Choi_Junhong & @wchenomics 1/25
Very excited to share my PhD work on how glia promote traumatic brain injury (TBI) recovery but chronically accelerate degenerative tau pathology: https://t.co/dEFlDFRN4Q. Out tomorrow in @NatureAging
We used our Azimuth human lung reference to map 1M cells (10 studies, >200 donors, 8 disease states) into a common space with harmonized annotations and visualization. You can explore the results using the @cziscience cellxgene platform at https://t.co/W5wRhM0jpN
We also find that S100 gene family expression appears to enhance metastatic-ability, complimenting EMT changes, and is propagated across clonally-distinct cancer subpopulations in vivo
Very happy to share our paper exploring cancer metastasis via "lineage recording" or "CRISPR lineage tracing" w/ Chris Lengner, @JShendure, @aaron_mckenna, @chinabyrns, @megclarks, Bobby Norgard, @bethkarenmartin & Ben Stanger https://t.co/IxQRlW4Js5
By merging lineage and transcriptome info, we find that metastatic aggression peaks at late-hybrid EMT states, which are are selected from an epithelial ancestral pool, and that late-hybrid gene signatures also predict worse outcomes in human cancer
You can install Seurat v4 and check out new vignettes for multimodal analysis at: https://t.co/7BMGF7eSiN
You can explore our CITE-seq dataset and the expression of your favorite gene (or protein!) at this beautiful web portal designed by Michael Zager: https://t.co/myWdqzgj5T
Single-cell lineage and transcriptome reconstruction of metastatic cancer reveals selection of aggressive hybrid EMT states https://t.co/3MSsqoPBtS #bioRxiv
Excited to share our work exploring cancer metastasis & EMT at single-cell resolution via CRISPR lineage tracing in the Lengner lab @Penn in collab with @JShendure@aaron_mckenna, @chinabyrns, @megclarks, Bobby Norgard, @bethkarenmartin & Ben Stanger https://t.co/CFyJbRCclX
In this work, we profile over 500,000 cells with special emphasis on the adult mouse brain and human bone marrow in native and stimulated settings. Read more here: https://t.co/Ypiiw3LJZw 2/4
.@PennDPS@Penn@BikePHL: was biking a few minutes ago behind Smilow where I work on Health Sciences Dr. Driver beeped & screamed at me for biking on the road. No bike lane & hundred of Penn folks bike this road everyday. Crossing guard said it was a Penn Park & Ride bus.
