To be clear, Adobe does NOT require a full and unfettered "non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free sublicensable, license, to use, reproduce, publicly display, distribute, modify, create derivative works based on, publicly perform, and translate the Content".

You need to scrap this part of section 4.2 completely and replace it with language that does not permit Adobe access to people's intellectual property for ANY marketing or commercial purposes.

Business have a long history of adjusting their terms of use incrementally in order to sneak in unscrupulous practices. No one believes that 2 years from now you won't adjust the terms of service to remove the part that says "Solely for the purposes of operating or improving the Services".

No one is begrudging you reasonable access to content for the purposes of maintaining and improvement of the service.

However ... You want access to our content for marketing or commerce ... You ask, you get permission, and you pay for it like everyone else.

Stealing it is unacceptable. Which is exactly what you are doing no matter how you try to justify it.

Posting clarifications is not fixing the problem. Fixing the problem is removing it from the terms of use in the first place. Anything else is an open door for future management to burst that door wide open.

It is unethical. It is immoral. And it needs to be replaced immediately.
