Fascinated watching history unfold. Enjoy looking at all possibilities & delight in existence’s paradoxical nature. PS. I don’t care about blue check marks.
Durbin’s bill that will be hidden within another bill, which should be totally illegal, is going to take supplements out of stores & require you get them through a dr with a rX, which will make them cost at least 5 x’s more – and profits go to Big Pharma
@HerbsandDirt@hiphilosophy60 But did you see the FDA want doctors to wean people off of natural desiccated thyroid meds over the next year and pull them from the shelves, forcing people to be on synthetics only?
I am in the exact same boat as you. Thyroid cancer and Synthroid had me feeling half dead.

Residents in North County, including Oceanside and Vista, reported a mysterious oil-like odor on Wednesday evening. The Oceanside Fire Department confirmed it is similar to a previous odor from last year. The situation is not life-threatening, and local…
@fox5sandiego Didn’t this happen around the same time last year? People attributed it to the lithium ion battery storage fire in Escondido, but it was even reported at sea and the Coast Guard got involved.
@Babygravy9 I get dizzy and nauseous in them. I was so confused the first few times why I felt so crappy. It only happened when I rode in fully electric vehicles.
@TheProjectUnity Happens to me every darn time we move the clocks ahead. The change takes me weeks and I live in a foggy, confused, exhausted world while making the transition.
@mcuban As a veteran financial journalist, I agree it is accurate. Tariffs will cause inflation to skyrocket as prices on many purchases go up 25%+
Plus billionaire tax cuts
=doubling deficit
=massive cuts to Medicare/Medicaid/SNAP
=tripling unemployment
=25 to 50% drop in stock market
@PetreSolheim@5149jamesli Can you share more about how farming practices harm the Tule Elk? Genuinely asking. I grew up near farms & the wildlife shared the grazing pastures w/ livestock. It appeared symbiotic. Migratory patterns and habitats were impacted by new housing developments, not farmland.
12/ Environmental groups sold this as a win for conservation.
But the reality? It was a quiet land transfer — one that just happened to benefit some of the most politically connected non-profits in the country.
And once these farms are gone, they’re gone forever.
@Culture_Crit Is this not part of the communist manifesto? Eliminate art and anything that inspires people to think creatively and replace it with nonsensical abstract, lifeless art?
Side note: I also notice landscaping is far more dull and lifeless now too.
