@JohanBruyneel@RichardPlugge@JohanBruyneel I know that you are a non believer in Apple coming to cycling, but have a look at what Apple is doing in soccer, and F1. https://t.co/8G00z5i3xz
The only question is whether or not the teams will see any $ or if this will be an ASO payday.
Thrilled to have @RachelBendayan with me as Parliamentary Secretary at Finance. Your hard work and dedication to Canadians always shines through—and I’m looking forward to working with you, Rachel!

@imgrund@imgrund do we have transparency as to where the case surge is coming from? Close contacts at home seem to have always accounted for ~1/3 of cases. Are schools driving the surge or is it community spread? Before we start shutting things down again some data would be helpful.
An interesting crop of companies chose by Amazon for their inaugural digital health incubator. Heavy focus on communication and patient interaction - great timing with the human resource pressures on the healthcare system! https://t.co/ExFtfbtxPk
It's Canada's first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Above all, don't forget that the path to reconciliation is a path we all have to walk together. For a deeper dive into our history, take the Indigenous Canada course available at https://t.co/qQYWgNsxX0.
@Noviscend and @LaunchItVS are combining our efforts on a new medical education initiative to address some of the underlying drivers of health disparity.

@ONT_Dad@theJagmeetSingh@ONT_Dad Let’s be honest, he knows he’s not going to form a government so he is trying to syphon as many disaffected liberals to his camp. That way he controls more of the vote in a minority gov’t.
@imgrund@imgrund nope, just 100% political calculation that people want their kids in sports no matter what. They just see it as an opportunity not to spend a penny and ride popular opinion.
@fordnation let me get this straight, sitting through an "education session" can get a teacher/healthcare worker out of needing a vaccine? I know people who've sat through relentless timeshare sales pitches for less reward. Get serious or just admit it's just about votes.
The relative risks say it all! The wild card is still the breakdown by age. With 12-18-year-olds still having the lowest vaccination rates and going back to school soon, it would be helpful to understand if they are also seeing disproportionate cases.
Ontario now has 6 days of data showing cases and hospitalization by vaccine status — so far showing a consistent result.
This data needs a pop. adjustment, at minimum, so here's that.
(It also very much needs age data, which would most likely widen the pop. adjusted gap.)
