My dad worked on voice at IBM 20 years ago, and I feel so lucky to be able to carry on his legacy at @elise_ai to push the frontier!
To me, the most exciting thing about voice is how it unlocks accessibility - helping people access affordable housing and healthcare in their own language.
Voice is the interface for AGI. Proud to partner with @cartesia to bring AI to the masses!!
packed room at #SFTechWeek last night with Mario Claudio Martone (@EliseAI) and @michaelpsenka (@basetenco), talking fine-tuning, building infra that keeps up with open-source models, and what reasoning agents need next.
we had a blast meeting everyone. thanks for coming out!!
Last week, we took over Times Square to celebrate our latest fundraise!
Since our seed round, we've grown from 3 people to 600 across multiple cities. The raise will go towards continuing to grow and build impactful products that reduce the cost of living.
EliseAI CEO @minnasong says affordable housing is mathematically broken for millions of Americans, because someone earning under $30K needs housing below $600 a month, while many units cost more than that just to operate:
"We have really great companies working on a lot of flashy things and consumer products. But sometimes essential industries get forgotten in the mix. And those are the things that we really suffer from sometimes."
"Over 30% of Americans make less than $30,000 a year. If you want affordable housing at that income level, it has to cost you less than $600 between your rent and your utilities. And in most markets in the country, it costs more than that to just operate a unit."
"4 in every 10 Americans hold medical debt in some way. It's not just about changing who is paying for healthcare, it's actually about changing the economics of it."
@elise_ai
btw, @elise_ai is on a roll
- 5 straight years of doubling revenue
- just passed $200M in ARR this past summer
- creating a massive impact in both healthcare and housing across 30M renters, 2M patients, and 1 in every 5 multifamily apartments in the US
@minnasong just announced $350M in fresh funding and is now making SF their next engineering hub

EliseAI has one of the most impressive growth profiles we've seen across vertical AI, in its scale, pace, and durability. Elise has become synonymous with AI in property management.
We led their round a year ago, growth has since accelerated, and we're thrilled to double down. Incredible work @minnasong and team!
We're excited to announce that EliseAI has raised $350M at a $4B valuation.
The financing was led by @a16z, @BessemerVP and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, with participation from @SapphireVC and @navitascapital.
A few fun facts behind the round:
→ EliseAI now powers 1 in 5 U.S. apartments
→ We've surpassed $200M in ARR
→ We've doubled revenue YoY for 5 consecutive years
Thank you to our customers, partners, investors and every member of the EliseAI team for believing in what we're building.

@elise_ai just raised $350M at a $4B valuation, led by @a16z and @BessemerVP!!
As AI keeps accelerating, it increasingly feels like people are working on problems that don't matter. At Elise, we're doing the hard work to apply AI to industries that desperately need it.
Over the last year, I've gotten to work on some of the fastest growing products in my career: voice agents handling 60M+ calls a year (!!), an affordable housing platform serving 500k+ units and 8 of the top 10 operators, and long-horizon agents like Apollo, already serving 1M+ units and growing rapidly.
This is hypergrowth at it's finest, and we're just getting started. Job's not done 💪
Intelligence is getting cheaper. Life should too.
Today @elise_ai is announcing a $350 million funding round at a $4 billion valuation, led by @a16z and @bessemer.
I wrote about how we’re changing the economics of housing, and the work in front of all of us: building AI for the hardest, most important industries in the world.
