Everyone should know that this animal exists. It's a Viscacha.
The Viscacha is known for always looking sad, disappointed, and needing a nap. They are my new spirit animal.
@yangyang_cheng @BjoernPenning Oh my gosh! I remember seeing a 19th-century book in the special collections at UChicago (in English) about a girl who plays with matches and catches on fire. The cats cry at the end. This must have been a thing!
The @uclalawlibrary joined us yesterday for a tour of the library & the grounds! Also on view were some legal-adjacent items: a 1676 pamphlet about two servants convicted of murder & a 2011 artist book dealing with Japanese pension fraud.
@kateefly @geriatricgretch My colleague kindly edited a video with me and had to listen to my voice on repeat for hours! Very embarrassing. It was bad enough recording it. And I can say how much I hated recording myself for virtual choirs and listening to myself again and again!
Unable to visit us for a tour of the Clark Library in person? Then join us on this guided video tour of the Library’s historical interior & learn about its architecture, fine & decorative arts on display, & the people who contributed to its creation.
