@Gregorytrane461 I offer Good Luck for I believe you can’t understand a system, the Economy, with our current understandings, and it’s a truly impossible task for the Fed!
@Gregorytrane461 I meant can’t constrain; the Fed can’t control the actions or decisions of other nations that might be opposite of what the Fed seeks, and their is little coordination between the Fed and Goverment and the actors, citizens and businesses of our Economy and Country! Good Luck
@Gregorytrane461 I posit that shocks cause non-lineralalities that can be constrained by the Fed; given that they want to keep a strong dollar that de- incentives lenders (China) to pay back their loans
@stewartbrand Stewart, as you know I like science and the changes being created by complexity, but science locks us into the brain and true peace, both personally and in social actions, is found by stabilizing ourselves in our minds. The sensory word is not ultimately real.
@work_matters I met Dee Hock after his sabbatical #after Visa when he read philosophy for 10 years and developed his home/ranch on the California coast A good friend Steve Millard introduced me to Dee and at a time when I was Chairman of SFI. Dee said:
Just think if all the teachers of American history would include that transformative two decades in their syllables (esp. at the college level - approx. 450 visitors are Americans). Teachers could use either the online book or what we hope will become a textbook: CP&P.
This resource has proved to be an excellent way for interested people from all over the world to learn about those 20 years that changed the history of not only the United States but the whole world and built the foundations of our digital economy.
@peterschwartz2 I agree, it’s a very serious issue that gets little attention.
There is an astounding amount of it; growing every year; I believe the USAF uses Cray computers, and we already need to fit missile launches into holes that they know about yes satellite Communications is at risk
@peterschwartz2 Peter, on another less important, but important to me issue, thank you for continually to be a public spokesman and advocate for our book! When can you come to Maui? Jim
@edyson Well said/texted. however, more a dark comedy both for women and the founding principles of our democracy.
I doubt those proud Alabama politicians who made themselves know with “glee” the day after had ever heard of the Federalist papers? Jim
@ajaffe12@AndyKHLiu I have to rethink reading WFM from I don't even remember his name but he's from Alabama I guess Caesar law maker or legislature, he is out of his mind
@speakjava@aka_pugs Please let your library know so they will stock. Thank you. Jim
PS there is a free on-line book that receives over 1,000 visitors a month and has had for over 3 years. And is a hypertext version of the book. FYI
