The results of the recent state elections have been dramatic by any measure.

But for me, this image will remain the most unforgettable outcome of the elections.

More than 166,000 votes were cast between the two leading candidates in this constituency in Tamil Nadu.

And history was changed by just one vote.

This image should be shown in every school in the country & perhaps around the world.

So that every child understands that when they grow up, the greatest power they may possess is the Power of One.

@GMSRailway @SalemDRM this train is still stationed at Samalpatti…. It’s an hour now….. extremely inconvenient for all passengers. If you can’t run these special trains on time then why even schedule such journeys?? @RailMinIndia @RailwaySeva

@SalemDRM / @GMSRailway Special train 06023 Chennai to Coimbatore started around 30 mins late from chennai and is now stationed at Samalpatti for over 45 mins. It’s not a regular stoppage. Why such step motherly treatment for special trains ? @RailMinIndia

@samchebbi @volklub In 2010 I bought a Ford Figo. The sales guy did the same with my whole family seated. He drove 0-80 & slammed the brakes to show stability. Was a good experience. Cut to 2025 while exploring cars (including Kylaq) to replace my aging Figo sadly no salesman gave such an exposure

A recent distress call: a student has taken about ₹70L ($80K) debt at 12% to get a master's degree in a small college in the US.

The problem: the job scene in IT is bad, especially so for foreign students and payments on the loan are starting soon.

I don't know what we could do in this situation because we have not been hiring much as we transform ourselves for the AI era. That caution in hiring is also because we have a policy of not resorting to lay-offs.

I urge students and parents to be cautious in borrowing heavily to pursue degrees abroad. Borrowing heavily to pursue degrees in India is unwise too.

I strongly believe we should not trap young people in debt in the name of education. The only smart course is for prospective employers to fund training programs and for the industry to broadly accept such alternative credentials rather than ask for formal degrees.

The best investment we make as a company is in training and skill development. I hope companies do this widely so we don't strand young people in debt.
