@McNamaraDynasty Lately I find I do better drafting if I dont do research early. Basically just a week before and then a week or two after the nfl draft. My dynasty leagues draft close to the nfl draft.

@ninainlanguages I was 43 when I started to really try and learn. The language is Serbian/Croatian and it was because I like to spend months in the region and wanted to speak,interact with people.

@umbreon2021 Expensive to fly and most people I know get maybe 1-2 weeks vacation max for the year. Traveling in the US is even worse as hotel prices crazy

@Saltwatertattoo Tim, I had the same experience over blood work. My wife and are abroad 10-11 months of the year. I was home and needed blood work. $350 through insurance $150 without.

@kubacki__ Over the years I have noticed that I tend to be more or less motivated for each hobby at different parts of the year. Not always the same part of the year but maybe the same amount of time of high morivation. I've never tracked it

@kubacki__ Ive noticed I go through different stages of motivation throughout the year. Its not just language related but more interest related. I play fantasy baseball/football, like to draw and learn language (Serbian, Croatian).

@fi3m Former Yugoslavia countries. I didnt speak the language but because I enjoy visiting I am trying to learn the language.

@kubacki__ Whatever you decide to do. If its language learning add subtitles in the language your speaking in addition to English subtitles. Its so useful for me to be able to read the words in a foreign language and listen to them

@polyglosam @laidbacklang Nice to see someone mention learning Serbian. I'm also learning but I dont see many others mention it on the language threads. Good luck and if you have any good follows for the language feel free to share.

@SantPolyglot Im not really sure I can have basic conversations and read beginner to level 2 graded readers. Would that be like A1? I have been learning for about 8 months and I take italkie classes weekly. My grammar is not good and Im basic on on speaking skills.

@MLautmer I would say for C. Instead of I do this, I would say " This is the first time I did this'

@T_L_Guy I stopped it before because of the backlog stressing me. Now I use it but just set a timer and don't even look at what the app says is due. Inputting is a pain though.
