@suzania And it's very true that a computer can't "do mathematics" in that sense. But most folks will answer the question "can a computer do math" with an incredulous "of course it can" because to them doing math is about the raw calculation

One of the really hard things about AI discourse is that the language leads people to talk past each other. When Susannah says that a computer can't "do math" she means something fundamentally different than when someone more pro-AI says a computer CAN "do math"

Pre-marital sex is not demonized, but marriage is not really held up as a greater arrangement either, and the film doesn't explore pltiks
