@TracyZager @KahnNahpPahn But I make the image using a screenshot. Like I create the thing I want to use as the background in Google Slides, then screenshot it, and then insert the screenshot as the background image. Maybe you already know about this and it doesn't do what you're looking for.

@TracyZager @KahnNahpPahn Hi Tracy! I have used an image as a background in Jamboard. I just use the add image function and then stretch it out so that it takes up the whole slide. Is that what you mean? I've used this for game boards so that kids and I can write on a template...

@bethhentges @ShayRost @BerkeleyEverett @nancy_estepa @math6teacher @JSchwartz10a This doesn't totally answer your question, but I've used a meter stick as 1 whole and then the yellow rods from the Base 10 blocks are tenths, the cubes are hundredths and the mm on the stick are the thousandths. Works well in Grade 5.

Going to try my first #countingcollections with Kindergarten. I've read a lot about this, but I just need to know - how many collections should I make? what range of collection size? And once kids finish counting one, should we have them count another?

And when they finish counting/recording one collection, do you have them go count another? Just imagining some kids might finish with the collection of 8 pretty fast...
