3D/C4D/STUVWXY&Z. Tool maker @Cineversity. I facilitate the display of patterned pixels that sometimes change over time. Tell your dog I said hi. LLAP.
I'd also argue that the opposite is true in plenty of cases of short DOF shots. That they're shooting at the HIGHEST possible DOF that the space, lighting and 6-figure rig would allow... because, , putting aside a dozen other considerations, hyperfocal distance is a thing too.
We’re in an era of TV production that will be immediately identifiable in the future because every show decided to shoot with the lowest depth of field possible.
@mariosundays Cursory glance isn’t revealing anything and, yeah, loading PBR textures into shaders can get tedious in c4d unless ur using substance. So until/unless a solution emerges, I’m putting this on my short list… cuz I want this too!
@cgpov I made a script so I can mindlessly smash one button when I encounter this. It's more cathartic than methodically finding the right axis:)

@HLoshak Here’s a much more satisfying way to setup a bend deformer. Dock the button, select the deformer, then smash it til you’re satisfied with the result:)

@ABAOProductions Ah, yes... that part. I have a setup for that. Converted from an old COFFEE script from back in the day. Not my own original creation, and I'm not the first to share it, so no credit to me;) Free on gumroad:

Everyone check your @peacock account! They signed me up for a $7/month add-on without my consent in August when they raised their prices. Hey @peacock, give me back my $27.16!!!
@der_flow_ Available (free) on Gumroad for those who actually want this. It is actually quicker than selecting an orientation and hitting the 'Fit to Parent' button... so it's not useless?
