Department of Information Technology, Government of Assam organized a State-level Workshop on “Strengthening Cyber Security Frameworks for State Data – Assam” on 24.6.2026 and invited #STPIINDIA Guwahati as an expert organization for the event.

Shri Rajib Kumar Das, Additional Director, STPI Guwahati, delivered a presentation on “Modernizing and Hardening Legacy Applications and Systems: Alignment with Security by Design and Audit Requirements.”

The session highlighted the importance of secure modernization, hardening of legacy systems and aligning applications with security-by-design principles and #securityaudit requirements. The workshop was graced by Shri KS. Gopinath Narayan, Principal Secretary and Smt. Nandita Dutta, Commissioner & Secretary, DIT, Government of Assam along with representatives from various State Government departments .
