A simple tweak our govt can make that will help immensely towards improving India's olympiad performance:
Allow national olympiad winners to bypass entrance examinations for IITs/IIITs/IISERs.
@IITKanpur and @iitgn are already doing this.
Could we prepare people better? I think so. Having some activities that do not end in a grade, but that are iterated through long periods of time should be something we could add to earlier stages of education. 11/N

Understanding IMF's forecast. Growth of 11.5% in '21, after -8% in '20 means 3.5% over 2 years, which is roughly 1.75% annual growth. India needs to do better. IMF's forecast for China is roughly 5.2%. Nationalism that makes us ignore national data is a disservice to the nation.
