@beano_bananaman @DailyMail Because so few reported assaults get as far as court. Rape has one of the lowest conviction rates per report compared to other offences. Even your 50% of court cases stat is very low compared to other crimes.

@MisterRee321 @beano_bananaman @DailyMail I haven't assumed anything. I've pointed out that most people charged with rape don't get convicted. So statistically he is more likely to have been found not guilty.

@dcpetterson The very very weak study doesn't even say that. It says there isn't definitive evidence that the advantages remain. Because adequate research hasn't been done. Is that clearer for you?

@beano_bananaman @DailyMail Except that the conviction rate is exceptionally low. So in fact its mote likely he wouldn't have been. Doesn't excuse it or compensate for the impact of being falsely accused but worth remembering that statistically a conviction is unlikely.

@ThePosieParker Its also damaging to young boys confused about their gender / sex. The Cass review was clear that social transition is not a neutral act, its an intervention, so if you wouldn't give them hormones or surgery dont go along with the fiction that they are girls. Its harming them.
