Vanavond zullen Iraniërs over de hele wereld op sociale media een Twitterstorm lanceren ter ondersteuning van #PakhshanAzizi, een Koerdische activist wiens doodvonnis onlangs werd gehandhaafd door het Iraanse Hooggerechtshof op basis van dubieuze beschuldigingen van nationale veiligheid.

Pakhshan Azizi is de eerste vrouwelijke politieke gevangene in Iran die in 14 jaar is geëxecuteerd, nadat haar doodvonnis in hoger beroep schaamteloos werd gehandhaafd.
